How does ICM work?

0

The ICM software (once downloaded and installed) runs on your computer. When you are on the Internet, this ICM software connects to our ICM server. This is how ICM knows where to send your calls. The Status Indicator on your ICM Main Window or on the System Tray icon will be green or yellow when your software is connected to our server. For ICM to work, your calls must reach our ICM server when you’re online – the same server to which your ICM software connects. We do this by arranging, or having you arrange, a call forwarding service with your telephone company. When someone calls you, the call is forwarded to our server, where the information about the caller is captured and then displayed to you through an Incoming Call Pop-up. You can then choose how you want to handle the call.
