Where is Middlebury?
Middlebury College is located in the northeastern United States in the town of Middlebury, Vermont (population 8,000). It is one of the United States’ most beautiful spots—nestled in a green valley with views of nearby mountains. The rolling landscape is dotted with farms and open land with abundant wildlife. Lake Champlain, a 120-mile long lake that forms part of the border between Vermont and New York, is 20 minutes from campus. Burlington, Vermont’s largest city, is 35 miles away, and is served by an international airport. Boston is four hours away by car; New York City, five hours; and Montreal, two and a half.
