How much baggage can be checked in?
You may transport free of charge checked Baggage up to a maximum weight of 15 kg (20kg for Indonesia Domestic Flights). You shall pay a charge for the carriage of that excess baggage at the rates (these rates may be changed or varied at any time and from time to time and will be available from us upon request and are available at our check-in counters). Please refer to AirAsia’s Fee Schedule for a list of charges. For bookings made from 21 April 2008 onwards, a fee will apply for every checked baggage. A fee incurred for every item/bag that is accepted by the Airlines for carriage in the hold of the aircraft per one way basis. There are two different charges. One that can be purchased at a discounted rate and another at an airport rate.
