What is an NRS customer profile?

0

The NRS computer system automatically creates a ‘customer profile’ for regular users of the NRS. When you phone the NRS the computer will ‘remember’ the mode (eg. TTY, modem, VCO, HCO) commonly used from your number. This allows the NRS computers to process your calls more quickly once it ‘learns’ the mode you wish to use. If your number is used by more than one NRS caller and they use different modes to call the NRS, contact us and we can reset your profile to suit. For example, one caller may call by TTY and another prefers VCO and they both call from the same phone number.
