What is the CICSD Mentoring Program?
The CICSD Mentoring Program is a voluntary program that matches authors who have never been published in a journal with established researchers in our disciplines. Students interested in participating in the CICSD Mentoring Program must send the manuscript accompanied by a cover letter requesting that the manuscript be considered for publication and stating that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not currently submitted elsewhere. Also include in the cover letter contact information for the author (including mailing address, e-mail address, fax and phone number) and a description of the area of interest the article is covering (e.g., fluency, voice, articulation, language, professional issues, multi-cultural issues, hearing, etc.). In addition, include the present status of the manuscript (e.g., it is in the idea stage, the introduction and methods section is written but nothing else, etc.).
