CAN ANIMALS HURT THE TURF?
No. It is commonly used for pet runs as an alternative to concrete or rock. Urine is not a problem as it absorbs into the sand and rubber and eventually evaporates. Other messes clean up the same as natural grass. You can even spray the soiled area with a hose, and then brush the turf back into place. The turf is also installed with extra spikes to secure it to the ground.
