Answer The indirect Memory Pointers within the HT49CU80/HT49RU80 are 8-bits wide and are used to interrogate the addresses they point to in the Data Memory. Memory Pointer MP0 can only used with Bank0 while Memory Pointer MP1 can be used with Bank0, Bank2 and Bank3 in addition to the LCD Display Memory, which is located in Bank1.
