What is a laminated floor?
Laminated flooring is made with layers which are bonded together under extreme heat and pressure. The wear-resistant surface is made to provide great strength and durability. The decorative layer can simulate wood grains, marble or stone. Laminated floors are specially designed to provide an extremely stable foundation with minimal expansion and contraction, making them ideal for below grade or concrete sub-floor installations. They are also popular in kitchens and bathrooms because they require very little maintenance.
