Why a cookery school for kids?
Why not! We wanted to show kids how they can cook for themselves and, so, eat really great food. We wanted to have somewhere kids could cook in a fun and safe environment; a place where kids could learn to enjoy making and eating food. We love teaching kids how to cook, they have much more enquiring minds than adults, and are more open to new flavours and ideas. As kids are learning to cook, they are mastering many other skills too-reading recipes, converting weights and measurements. Baking is often compared to chemistry, requiring the accuracy of a scientist when weighing out ingredients! Cooking brings independence and the amount of confidence that comes from being able to produce your own food is just immeasurable.
