What is Ohios Best Rx?
Ohio’s Best Rx is a prescription drug discount card program designed to lower the cost of prescriptions for Ohio residents who have no drug insurance coverage and are either age 60 or over regardless of income; or under age 60 with income under 300% of the federal poverty level (that would be $2708 per month for a single person or $3643 for a family of two). Applicants under the age of 60 who have received outpatient prescription drug coverage four months prior to applying might not be eligible immediately (with some exceptions).
