How does the phonebook work on Papaya?
When you open Papaya for the first time you will be asked to allow Papaya to import your phonebook. Once the phonebook is imported, all your contact information will appear under the “Friends” tab. The Friends tab works much like your regular phonebook, only better. You can use it to send free SMS messages to other Papaya friends and make cheap calls. You can also share pictures and other files with your friends and IM contacts. You can edit your Papaya phonebook and synchronize these changes back to your original phonebook. We will remind you to synchronize once per week. If you don’t want to be reminded you can turn it off under “My Account -> Settings” on Papaya.
