What is Academic Probation (AP)?

0

This is a type of student academic status that means that your UTSA GPA has gone below 2.0. You will remain on AP status as long as your UTSA GPA remains below 2.0. It also means that you are subject to Academic Dismissal if you have a semester where your Term GPA is itself below a 2.0. Students on academic probation may enroll in no more than 13 semester credit hours in a Fall or Spring semester and no more than 7 semester credit hours in a summer semester. Contact the advisor in your major for more information.
