Mov includes many different format, such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, QuickTime, DivX, etc. ffdshow can decode these files (ffdshow is shareware). If your mov file are not these formats, you have to install its related decoder. If you can play the mov file with Windows Media Player, then the mov file could be inserted and played in Power Point file, because Windows Media Player plays the mov file by invoking the related mov decoder.
