How to clear FTA warrant?
Here is what you do. Call the DeSoto Justice Court and talk to the Clerk of Court there (or the City Court if you were nabbed by a municipal agency). Tell them what you stated here in your question and ask them if you can arrange to turn yourself in and post bond (ask what the bond is). You will still get arrested but as soon as the Officer is done processing you you can post bond and walk out. Heck, they may even yank the warrant if you pay whatever you owe them but they will probably need to go through the motions and serve it but it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Just make sure to get this squared away and make your court date this time around. You can hire a lawyer if you want but (in my humble opinion) it would be kind of a waste since this is basically a failure to pay issue at this point.
