The smaller carriers buy long distance time from the large carriers. They provide their own customer service and billing services. They are able to keep their own costs much lower by spending much less on advertising. Somebody has to pay for the millions of dollars spent on commercials by AT&T, MCI, and Sprint. Just don’t let it be you anymore!
