If the pay day should fall on a day when the bank is closed, HR will make every effort to submit the funds ahead of time so that financial institutions can apply the deposits to accounts. HR cannot guarantee that individual institutions will apply funds on payday. Some banks may wait until their next business day to process direct deposits.
