My animated gif ad appears static in my Safari browser, stuck on the first image. Why?

Due to an idiosyncratic behavior of the Safari browser some animated GIF files do not display correctly. In the next version of blogads, we will implement a work around to ensure that these GIF images animate in Safari as well. In the meantime, up to 2% of viewers may see only the first image of an animated ad. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
