A Banner ID number is a 9 digit number (usually starting with triple zeros) that is automatically assigned to a student when they apply to Providence College. It is a unique identifier which replaces the need to search for students in our database by using a social security number thus increasing a student’s privacy and security.

Your Banner ID is your student ID. It begins with the letter C and has 8 digits. For identity protection, using your Banner ID instead of your Social Security number is more secure.
