at most they just take a swab to check for yeast but they may not even do that, you’re supposed to go to the doctor the first time you get one, to make sure it isn’t BV, but once you know what one is like and the docotr tells you the things about the difference in symptoms between BV and yeast and regular cervical mucus, then you can just buy monistat over the counter but the first time you should to go to the doctor you should def go to the doctor then cause it could be bacterial vaginosis and not yeast

I have been to the doctor for a yeast infection before and all they have done is ask me what the symptoms are, i.e the itching, the smell and the discharge. I wouldn’t worry about it. Considering you are thirteen it is unlikely they would want to examine you.

Just go to your local drug store with your mom and there will be a section where you can buy stuff to get rid of yeast infections, like Canestan. Or talk to the pharmacy people to help you.
