Where is Webfile storing my data?
The information entered into Webfile is stored securely on servers owned and maintained by Dr. Tax Software. We use the highest encryption protocols available (128-bit) and we store the data in a protected data bank. Secure backups of the encrypted data are also stored off-site in guarded data centers. All data transmissions to the CCRA are subject to 128-bit encryption as well. Because your tax information is stored securely in the Webfile data bank, we can ensure that the correct amounts will be carried forward to your file for future tax yearsso you don’t have to search for it when the next tax season begins. Incidentally, when the time comes, we can help you further by comparing your prior tax file to the tax information you have entered for this year.
