What is Early Voting?
Early voting is a convenience for voters approved by the Florida Legislature in 2004. Statewide, early voting begins 15 days before an election in all Supervisor of Elections offices. Days and times vary among counties. In Pinellas County, early voting is held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, the two weeks before any election, ending on the Saturday before the election. Supervisors of Elections may also designate additional early voting sites in public libraries or city halls as their budgets and logistics permit.
