What is a chaperone fee?
A chaperone fee is agreed before an assignment and paid, in addition to the model fee, for one parent or guardian to accompany a child/teenager on an assignment. This is to help with your costs for being on hand during the assignment. The chaperone fee depends on the value of the assignment, location, time and travel. We emphasize the subject of chaperone fee must be discussed before any assignment is agreed and retrospective claims will not be entertained.
