What is the difference between a drop gate, a drop side and a Stationary side crib?
A. A drop gate crib has a split front and the top of the gate actually folds down so that you can reach the child in the crib. A drop side crib has a front that actually slides down to gain access to the child. A stationary side is solid and does not move. Usually, in stationary side cribs, the front is lower to begin with and you have more mattress height adjustments.
