Can Oracle Text Do Section Extraction?

We are storing all our documents in XML format in a CLOB. Are there utilities available in Oracle, perhaps Oracle Text, to retrieve the contents a field at a time? That is, given a field name, can I get the text between tags, as opposed to retrieving the whole document and traversing the structure? Answer: Oracle Text does not do section extraction. See the XML SQL Utility for this.
