It is a blend of 5% biodiesel with 95% petrodiesel. You may think this is not worth running a B5 blend but it does have a significant effect on reducing vehicle emissions. Another way to think of it is that if every diesel vehicle in the country ran B5 then it would be a significant saving, imagine 5% of the countries fuel would be home grown creating local jobs instead of sending the money to the desert. The other advantage of running a B5 is that the lubricity (ability of the fuel to lubricate) is greatly enhanced.
