Make all changes to your dogs diet gradually, over a period of about 3 weeks rather than just a few days. Give your dog plenty of time to adjust to raw food. I feed a simple diet of various meats with some veg, or meat with an egg/groung egg shell, meat with organ meats. I add sardines or raw whole bait fish 2/3 times a week. I give some kelp/spirulina/seaweed about 3 times a week. I give a raw bone most days. Some good ones are; lamb/mutton necks, lamb/mutton shanks, any knuckle pieces, soup bones, ox and roo tails, lamb off cuts. Twice a week my dog gets a carcass meal. Half a raw chicken or rabbit. This is great for them to tear and chew. Raw chicken legs and wings are good also. Vegies I like are; greens-green beans-english spinache-sprouts-peas, and greens from my garden. Leftover vegie scraps are good too. No onions or garlic. I give salmon oils about 3 times a week. Mince is O.K too but I prefer chunkier meat.
