Washing them with hot, soapy water is fine. Thats what I do. However, I would not use tap water. I would just try and buy Nursery Water Or any kind of Jug water and leave it at room temperature. That way, you would not have to use tap water or warm a bottle. Just bring a bottle and nipple in your room- Bring a bottle of water- Room temp water- and bring some Formula and sit it all on the nightstand, and when your baby wakes up- Its right beside you, and ready to be mixed!
