Tiff (Tagged Image File Format) is an image file. Tiff is a widely accepted image format and that is because of its suitability for a wide range of applications. Tiff can maintain its quality irrespective of computer’s architecture, operating system, and graphics hardware. A TIFF file retains better image quality than a JPG or GIF file, especially when printing. Tiff is able to handle black-and-white, grayscale, and color images, allowing a user to adjust for the unique characteristics of a scanner, monitor, or printer.

It can also be opened in WYNN, OpenBook, and Kurzweil 1000 in a similar way. TIFF does not retain any editing changes. Why is Editing Important? Other companies just scan books. Our scanning service includes zone editing, spell checking, page numbering, and chapter dividing.

File Type: Unknown Description: Windows does not recognize this file type. I try to save the file as a JPEG, but no other options are given! Anyone help.
