Is it possible to get a disease from a tattoo?
It’s always possible. Even if they sterilise the equipment, one wrong move by the tattoo artist and the needle or the ink can become cross contaminated. It would be irresponsible for anybody to tell you it isn’t possible. But it is virtually unheard of in reputable studios these days. You’re more likely to get hit by a car on the way! I guess it all depends how superstitious you are. Personally, I wouldn’t let the word of some stranger who may well be a fraud anyway stop me from doing what I wanted in life. Also, is there any possibility your mum has made this up to stop you from having another tattoo? I’m not suggesting she’s a liar, but perhaps if she feels strongly that tattoos are wrong for you she may be tempted to spin a white lie in order to persuade you to do what she feels is best? I’m 28. I have four tattoos and I got one in hawaii! That place wasn’t the cleanest but it was worth it! And I never got any diseases! Could just be lucky though! Lol! It just depends on what you’re prepared for! Any kind of surgery, tattoo or piercing can give a person a disease if one isn’t careful about where they go! But be prepared and think to your self if it is worth it enough! Could you handle it if you got a disease! It’s your body! You have to live with it! And only you can control yourself! Not some crazy psychic or wonderful Mom! But mom wouldn’t be mom if she didn’t worry! So go get your tattoo! Make sure its in a place on your body that you can hide if you ever need to dress up respectable! And just check out the tattoo shop! And make sure all the needles and ink are in sealed packs! They should be opened in front of you on a tray!
You can believe in psychics or not. That’s up to you. It doesn’t usually effect the outcome of anything anyway. But the tattoo thing, that’s another subject. You know that all kinds of diseases can be transmitted through unsanitary tattoo equipment. So, as long as you have that subject covered, I think you should do your own thing. But, try and pace yourself a little. Sometimes, too much is too much. Know what I mean?
