Would breaking my lease go on my credit report if i pay a cancellation fee?
I think your land lord will have the option to report someting, but most don’t And I don’t think they would have much to report about(credit-wise)as long as you financially satisfy them. The only draw back to breaking a lease that I have found is that you probably won’t want to use that landlord as a reference for future leases and sometimes a good reference is very helpful.
