What is SSL encryption?
To protect our members, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the credit card information you send when you place your order. The information is encrypted on your computer, sent through the Internet as scrambled code, and decoded on a secure server. Fluid Fundamentals Training and Engineered Software will not store your credit card information. It cannot be read in transit. SSL is the recognized industry standard worldwide for such sensitive transactions, making it safe for you to shop with a credit card on the Internet. Even banks transfer money and complete credit card transactions using this secure method.
128-bit Encryption (SSL) muddles up the information you type on the web page and transmits it over the internet to the intended website, once it has reached the site it is then put back together again. This is done by using public and private keys. (Security Software) The public key is used to encrypt the information (on your computer) and the Private Key to decipher it (our website) When your browser has SSL enabled it will automatically generate a public key unique to that session and this will be linked to the website it is intended for. If you do not have SSL enabled in your browser a key cannot be generated to protect your personal information and you will not be able to go any further. This is to ensure any personal data is transmitted safely and securely. If you click make a payment and the page comes up with an error message or page cannot be found then most likely your browser does not support 128 bit encryption. Does Tokenz use SSL encryption? Yes. When you submit your credit card to purchase an item on Tokenz, your most confidential information like your credit card information is transferred to web site using the SSL protocol. We use Secure Mode on the customer’s browser while running our shopping -cart software & use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt the sensitive data. Mostly all modern web browsers like Microsoft IE and Netscape Navigator etc. support the SSL standard. When you are selecting products and adding them to the Shopping Cart, you are in Non-Secure Mode. As you press the ‘Pay-Now’ button, you switch to Secure Mode where you select the payment option and complete the payment procedure.
