What is Deep Trance Identification (DTI)?
DTI is a tool where the subject is encouraged to believe that s/he is someone or something else. It is a useful method to teach with and to take on the characteristics of another completely in order gain deeper insight. I used DTI for teaching object lessons to Wort (Arthur). During that time, for all practical purposes, Wort believed he was a bird or a fish. It really is a good learning tool. (No, I didn’t actually turn Wort into a bird. But he believed I did).
