What is ParkWiFi?
ParkWiFi is the name of the City of St. Louis Park’s high-speed wireless Internet service. At its December 4, 2006 meeting, the City Council approved an agreement with Unplugged Cities, LLC to provide management partner services for the ParkWiFi citywide wireless service to be launched in 2007. An agreement with ARINC, Inc. for construction of the network was also finalized in December. Since then, detailed design, planning, and scheduling have occurred. These activities will continue through project completion.
