What on earth is Diablo 3?
Diablo 3 is a hack and slash, dungeon crawling action game for PC produced by Blizzard Entertainment, it is the third in the diablo series. The game follows a linear storyline in a dark fantasy world where the player and various key characters attempt to destory or contain evil.
Players can select from 5 character classes (witch doctor, barbarian, wizard, monk) each with unique abilities gainable through leveling. There are four levels of difficulty (normal, nightmare, hell, inferno) with each subsequent difficulty unlocked after the completion of the former: there is also a ‘hardcore’ mode in which a single death means the game is over.The game can be played as a single player or with a total of 4 players, in either case it requires a internet connection to play. The game also features an auction house where players can sell in game items for in-game gold or real money. PvP combat is not currently implemented, but will be released in the future.
