A. The CT-16 can test up to 32 points. This basically means that the tester can handle 16 straight through circuits with no splices. Each splice connection that is tested reduces the total points by 1. As an example if you are testing a harness that contains 14 straight through wires and one wire that contains a single splice (one wire in and two out) then you would be using the maximum points available with the CT-16.
