Can there be green stars?

0

Not really, because of our physiological perception of color and the broadness of the thermal spectrum. Stars can easily have their peak wavelength in the green, but the thermal spectrum is broad and includes a lot of light at slightly longer wavelength, too, which our eyes (and brains) perceive as yellow. Even if the peak is in the green, it happens that we still see the star as mostly yellow.
