Does Longaberger pottery, made in China contain lead?

0

Hello, I would have to say; “No, it does not contain lead”. According to U.S. Regulations any product containg lead must be labeled with a warning (Hence the reason that Waterford crystal now has “disclaimers” in all of their packaging declaring it to be “lead crystal”). A simple “Not for Food Use” label or stamp on products containing lead is no longer sufficient enough for the U.S. Regulations. This fact, along with Longabergers hard earned reputation for quality products (lead glazing is a “low end” cheap glaze which does not hold up well) and the durability of their virtuous stoneware, would certainly make me believe that the Longaberger pottery is lead free. Hope this is helpful! Merry Christmas!
