Wet tail is a illness in hamsters that can be fatal and cause death. It is caused usually from stress. It cannot be found in dwarf hamsters – they are immune to it. It is most common in Syrian, Teddy Bear, and Golden hamsters. To prevent wet tail, try to not stress your hamster out.
