What is the Rock Roll Camp for Girls?
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls is a day camp for girls, age 8-18, to learn the basics of creating and playing rock ‘n’ roll music on their instrument of choice – vocals, drums, electric guitar, keyboard or bass. 2002 Tribute Overview Of Camp Program The Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls’ mission is to encourage, engage, and showcase the musical, artistic and individual talents of girls and young women ages 8 – 18. Ultimately, the camp aims to foster girls’ expression by focusing on: – Musical education and technical instruction. – Providing forums to discuss positive means of creativity and self expression. – Providing role models and examples to promote self motivation, self reliance and empowerment in music.
