How much does a solicitor earn?

They don’t tend to earn as much as people think they would anymore. If you have a partnership you could earn £150.000 a year but that’s not often the case. I would say £35-75.000 a year but it all depends on what area of law you choose to go into and who you work for. But what you may want to think about is that you need to do an LL.B degree then an LPC which is a one year course it costs £8000ish just for that one year. Then you need to secure a training contract of 2 years which is in such stupidly high demand u won’t get one unless you know someone in law or you are the best of the best.
