The Advocacy Program provides information, upon request, and subject to certain restrictions, consultation and representation to unemployed workers and employers, at the Office of Appeals and/or Board of Review levels of appeals. Advocates are independent contractors and have a signed contract with the Program. They provide the consultation and representation services for qualifying customers. Program Statement The Advocacy Program is a customer friendly program. It prepares unemployed workers and employers to better understand the appeals or decision-making processes.
