How do wireless laptop computers work?
Wireless laptop computers work in the same manner as any other wireless device. The wireless card (WIFI) sends and receives a signal through a router. In order for the wireless signal to work efficiently, the device must be in close proximity to the wireless device, in this case the router. Unlike a wired connection, wireless devices allow users more mobility.
