Why sphagnum peat moss?
Apart from the extent of world reserves, what makes peat moss such a valuable resource is its versatility. Peat moss, which for many years was used mainly for energy and horticultural purposes, has gradually found new uses. For example, it is today used in wastewater and air treatment, industrial and municipal residue composting process as well as to enrich tillable lands in order to promote plant growth and water retention. From our first beginnings, the very nature of our activities has convinced us of the incredible potential in the tiniest forms of life.
