Is massage covered by OHIP?
While massage therapy is not covered by OHIP, it is often included in many extended health care plans. Contact your provider to find out more about what may be included under your particular plan. Some providers do ask that you secure a doctor’s note or prescription for massage before you can make a claim. Once you have paid for your appointment, you will be issued a receipt that you can then forward to your provider.
