Is Bristol airport open by night?

I’m also thinking about sleeping in that airport. I’ve had a look at Bristol entries in the website: www.sleepinginairports.com There aren’t many entries for Bristol airport. Also a good number have been about occasions when planes have been delayed and arrived late at night, when even many airports which close often let people stay in the airport. It does seem that people have slept who weren’t delayed there though it seems that it hasn’t been a quiet place to spend the night. Those above who were shocked that an airport would close, of course there are airports which close. Some stay open until the last flight arrives, whether it’s on time or delayed and close after that. Most airports used to do this, but I think most in Europe now would let you sleep there, whether they lock the doors for incoming visitors or not, but I’m sure there are those which close. This year I visited Nimes airport which only had a French airline doing hardly any flights and two or so flights a week by Ryana

Of course the airport is open in the night!! How else would people be able to get into the airport and check in ect!!!! I flew from Bristol a few weeks ago to Turkey and my return flight ended up leaving Turkey around 3 hours early so we had a 3 hour wait in the Airport for our friends from Wales to come and pick us up, there was no problem sleeping there and there is also a cafe open too in the main area as you walk in through the main doors. its to the left.

When planes land at Bristol in the night, the passengers have to stay on the plane and wait for the airport to open.

What is your question?
