What are Indian Clubs?
Originally used by Indian and Persian warriors thousands of years ago, and once an olynpic event, Indian club swinging is now regaining popularity in North America. Brought to Europe from India and then from Europe to the United States in the 1800’s, the clubs were used in physical education classes until around 1920. Indian clubs look like thin bowling pins and have most of the weight at one end. They are one of the greatest tools for injury prevention and mantaining optimal mobility in the shoulder complex.
