NGM stands for Natural Gas Marketer. NGMs like Accent Energy are independent companies that supply natural gas to residences and/or businesses, and work hand-in-hand with public utility companies. NGMs sell the natural gas (supply it) and the utilities deliver it to the end-customer and provide service. The term ESCO (Energy Service Company) is synonymous with NGM.
