Why does LSM build Homes of Hope?
A. 1. We build Homes of Hope to provide a Christian family environment to children at risk. While orphanages may be able to house more children, we believe the Biblical model is for children to be placed in families (Psalm 68:5). 2. Very few orphans in developing nations will be adopted. For this reason, LSM is taking the love of family to them through our Homes of Hope program. 3. By raising up these young men and women in the nurture of the Lord, we believe that God will raise up a generation of leaders who will influence their native country for Christ. By helping this generation as a Hand of the Shepherd, you will be reaching out to future generations, as well.
