What is Dolby AAC?
Dolby AAC is a new audio coding technology based on MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AAC that supports data rates from 14 kbps (mono) to 128 kbps (stereo) and up. AOL is incorporating Dolby AAC in new versions of its Radio@AOL and Radio@AOL Broadband streaming services to bring subscribers an enhanced listening experience from more than 175 Internet radio broadcasters.
