Who pays for the Guestbook?
The Guestbook was started by Grahame Rumsby, who paid for its first years. Annie then ran the GB, largely paying for it herself with additional contributions from some kind individuals, which was very nice. Then in April of 1999 it moved to become part of the unified Corrie.Net site (organised by Graham Allsopp), whilst still under Annie’s care. Care of the GB was handed over to Digger and Sheila in January 2000. Sheila took over responsibility for the GB in January of 2007. The GB is now paid for entirely by revenue from the banner advert at the top and bottom of some corrie.net pages. This is why it is important to click on the banner each time you visit. Only one click in every 24 hours is counted, so don’t wear out your mouse! It would also help us if you occasionally buy something from the pages you reach through the adverts.
